01
The four stages
- —Processing: payment, inventory and order checks before acceptance.
- —Production: time needed for made-to-order, custom or unfinished products.
- —Dispatch: the parcel is handed to the carrier.
- —Delivery: the carrier transports the parcel after dispatch. Timing varies by product, destination, seller and carrier; a delivery date is not guaranteed unless Ruyte expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
02
Split shipments and charges
Shipping is not automatically free. The available method and mandatory charge are shown at checkout before payment. A qualifying promotion may reduce that charge only when checkout applies it.
A multi-brand order can have several processing windows, parcels, carriers, tracking numbers, charges and delivery dates. One delayed parcel does not necessarily delay or cancel the rest of the order.
03
Address and carrier contact
Check the recipient name, complete address, phone and any access instructions before submitting checkout. A carrier may contact you to arrange delivery, customs clearance or collection. Contact support immediately if you notice an error; an accepted order may already be too far into fulfilment to redirect.
04
Proof of delivery
Tracking, recipient signature, access scan, delivery photograph, GPS record and carrier investigation may all be considered. None is automatically conclusive where credible contrary evidence exists. Ruyte will review the address, carrier records, customer statement and relevant seller evidence before deciding a lost or stolen-package claim.
05
Delays, loss and damage
Report a parcel that is materially late, delivered to the wrong place, missing or visibly damaged through the relevant order. Keep the packaging and provide photographs where applicable. Ruyte will coordinate with the seller and carrier and provide the remedy required by the accepted order terms and applicable law.
